We travelled to Thailand, during the peak summer of 2024. A visa free country with a cheap airline fare (AirAsia, 4 hours non-stop with 7 kg allowance), made it a preferable choice to visit. Our fun began from the flight itself, how ?
While we were about to land to Bangkok, one of the excited passenger onboard, ran down the aisle, clapping out of joy. He completed two rounds. Weird but funny 😀

We split our trip with 50% touristy things in Phuket and 50% of leisure time in Karabi. We stayed at the Banana Bunglows, run by a German national, who’s build this property since 8 years.
The main highlight of the property were:

  • Vegetarian Food – Good thai curry and vegetable noodle (similar to Thupka)
  • Kayak to mangroves and monkey island
  • Swimming is safe, since it is a bay area, the water is calm and not too deep
  • Beautiful sunset at Dome Cafe

There were other places to explore, but due to time constraint, we covered only few places and sat for hours on the beach. A global cuisine from Japan, Thai and Italy was a treat to the tongue. I do have a list of exploring the local Thai culture and temples, may be some other time. For this trip it was meant for leisure and away from phone.
